You’ve put a lot into your project - long hours, creative problem-solving, multiple stakeholders, and probably at least one last-minute on-site pivot. When we finish the photoshoot, it’s natural to feel excited. You want to see the images, share them, promote them, maybe submit for an award or pitch to a publication.
So yes, I get it. You’re refreshing your inbox. But architectural photography isn’t a snap-and-deliver scenario like real estate photos. And honestly? That’s a good thing.
Let’s talk about what’s sometimes misunderstood: the delivery timeline.
If you’ve had experience with real estate photography, you might expect a quick turnaround and a flood of images. But the goal in that world is speed, not story. Architectural photography is different. We’re building a narrative around your design - a sequence of images that respect the materials, the detailing, the light, the flow.
And crafting those images takes time, both on site and in post.
Whether it’s removing a temporary sign, color balancing to reflect the actual atmosphere of the room, or finessing that stubborn light spot from the glossy tile, the post-production process is part of how we respect your vision. Especially in small spaces, every decision matters - and every detail is curated to serve the story of your project.
After the shoot, we go through all the raw files and start shaping the visual arc of your gallery. This includes:
Curating compositions that best express your project’s design language
Adjusting lighting and colour to reflect actual experience of the space
Preparing alternate versions if you're planning to crop, submit, or repurpose later
This stage is where images go from good to great. It’s quiet, detailed work - but it’s also where your project really starts to shine.
Most galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks of the shoot date.
That timeline depends a lot on the scale and complexity of the project (and sometimes the weather we had to work with during the shoot). If you’re working toward a specific deadline (like an award submission or publication pitch) we’ll always do our best to align with your timeline. Just tell me in advance.
You’ll receive your images via a private online gallery. From there, you can choose the images you want to use, and what license you need for them. You can also upgrade and add images later on—your needs change over time, and sometime down the line a publication might ask for more images, or you might need a particular image for a tradeshow booth. You can also request changes and edits. This is a great place to ask for colour adjustments (particularly if you have colour chips we need to match) and particular retouching (for instance, we might need to leave your outlets and signage in for your home automation award, but remove them for your website).
Once you’ve selected your images, we go through them again to do final corrections, retouching, and get everything prepared from you. After that, we send you a link where you can:
Download high-resolution files for print or large-scale use
Access web-resolution files optimized for social media and digital platforms
Add more images and upgrade images from web to full resolutions
Explore licensing options if you need collaborators or third parties to access the set
We built the delivery system to be long-term friendly. Whether you’re updating your website a year later or building out your portfolio for a new pitch, your images are ready to go.
Good photography isn’t just decoration. It’s core to how your ideas enter the conversation, win awards, and get noticed by future colleagues, editors, and collaborators.
By slowing down up front, we’re actually saving you time over the long haul. Instead of chasing down new images every few months, you’ll have a set that’s versatile, timeless, and useful on every platform you use - from Instagram grids to keynote decks.
The bonus? You’ve been involved the whole way. We work transparently, which means your input and questions are always welcome, even after delivery.
If you’re a designer, architect, or marketer looking to create a strong visual record of your work, this is the kind of delivery process you want behind your images. It’s collaborative, flexible, and focused on the long game.
Have a project coming up soon? I’d love to hear about it. Let’s figure out how to turn your hard work into a gallery that does it justice - and keeps working for you beyond the deadline.

Until then, give yourself a moment. The wait isn’t wasted. It’s what makes your work shine. And when that gallery does land in your inbox? It'll be worth every second.
